Waterwall started life in Melbourne, Australia in 2000.
Friends Gail Davidson and Mitch O'Sullivan both had country upbringings and were discussing the ever worsening water issues in their home towns... Mitch mentioned that his dual needs to fence his country vegetable patch to keep the wallabies out AND to find somewhere to store rainwater close to the garden had led him to think about storing water in a fence. The seed of an idea was planted...
Now described as "the idea that wouldn't go away", the friends - both with diverse design backgrounds - spent the next eighteen months researching and designing the Waterwall Freestanding tank, the only rainwater tank in the world that can be used as a boundary fence or garden divider. A number of other tank models followed, and since commencing production in 2002 over 10,000 tanks have been sold.
